It's so nice to read your thankful list every Thursday. I then try to imagine what prompted you to be thankful. At times I hope my imagination is wrong, other times I just smile. Wish I could give you both a big hug. For now sending cyber hugs.
Do you like slippers because your feet get cold or because you don't like stepping on things in the dark? Do you have any bugs over there? I found a scorpion in our downstairs bathroom sink the other day. First one in 13 years at this house.

I bet you're wondering about the guardian angels...Derek was in a rollover accident but escaped nearly injuryless (pretty sore from what we hear though).
The slippers - since we have adopted the no shoes in the house at all policy, slippers have become a mainstay. It is so much better than barefoot. As far as bugs, there are have been very few. A couple mosquito bites, but thats it. Thankfully no scorpions...
Amen to guardian angels! I know there is a whole spiritual world out there that we can not see but it still is there. That knowledge makes it easier for me with you where you are...
