After 90 days the Dr. recommends no more immobilization. He says it is not healed (x-rays still show a fracture line) but it is time to start movement in my wrist. I will head back for more x-rays in two weeks. In honor of this, here are some things to be thankful for:
- Long-Sleeve shirts!
- Showers without bags!
- Legible hand writing!
- Using two hands to wash your hair!
- No more relying on the woman of the home to handle hard to open jars! Hooray!!

Yay!!! I am sure that is quite exciting for you (and lauren!) :)
Early Christmas present!!!!!!
Bout time son!
Wow, that must feel great! I sure hope that means it will heal quicker.
Chris,
Congratulations!! Here's stating the obvious:
Avoid drinking and walking backwards, at the same time. Also, no talking and walking backwards. In general, walk forward. Oh yeah, whatever you do, don't use that arm to break a fall. You'd be way ahead taking a header in the head than rebreaking your wrist. Thoughtful advice from someone who can't walk backwards and drink or talk at the same time.
Take Care, Uncle Larry
